Giada Pamela De Laurentiis (Italian:[ˈdʒaːdapaˈmɛːladelauˈrɛnti.is];[1] born Giada Pamela De Benedetti on August 22, 1970) is an Italian American chef, entrepreneur, writer, and television personality. She was the host of Food Network's program called Giada at Home. She also appears regularly as a contributor and guest co-host on NBC's program entitled Today. De Laurentiis is the founder of the catering business GDL Foods.[2] She is a winner of the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lifestyle Host and the Gracie Award for Best Television Host. She was also recognized by the International Hospitality Institute as one of the Global 100 in Hospitality, a list featuring the 100 Most Powerful People in Global Hospitality.[3][4]

Giada Pamela De Laurentiis is an Italian-Americanchef and host for Food NetworkTV shows. She was born on August 22, 1970. She is the granddaughter of movie directorDino De Laurentiis.[1] She was born in Rome and grew up in Los Angeles.
De Laurentiis studied at Le Cordon Bleu[2] in Paris, France.
On May 25, 2003, she married Todd Thompson. The two had been dating since July 1989. The couple's only child is Jade Marie De Laurentiis-Thompson. She was born on March 29, 2008.[3] On December 29, 2014, De Laurentiis announced on her website that she and Todd separated in July, and have decided to end their marriage.[4]
In 2008, she won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lifestyle Host.
She is also the voice of "Paulette", a character on the animated children's show Handy Manny.
