South Africa buries its anger
There was a range of emotion at the funeral for former South African President P.W. Botha, left, who led the nation through some of its darkest days of apartheid repression and never publicly sought forgiveness for his role. President Thabo Mbeki attended, but did not speak and refused to comment afterward. His attendance angered some black citizens, but others saw it as a gesture of reconciliation.
