The Rocketeer (titled Rocketeer internationally) is an American animated children's television series. It premiered on Disney Junior and Disney Channel in the United States on November 8, 2019, and on November 10 on Disney Junior in Canada.[1][2] Based on the comic book superhero of the same name by Dave Stevens and inspired by the 1991 film,[3] the series focuses on Katherine "Kit" Secord,[4] a 7-year-old girl who receives the family jet pack for her 7th birthday.[5]The Rocketeer was aimed for toddlers.[6]
While the series received generally positive reviews from critics, it was cancelled after one season for undisclosed reasons.[7]

Beau Black (born August 5, 1983)[3] is an American composer, producer, musician, singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist from New York City, New York.[4][5] He served as the primary songwriter for Disney's television show The Lion Guard, and received a Daytime Emmy Creative Arts nomination in 2017 in the category Outstanding Original Song for the Lion Guard song "Sisi Ni Sawa" (with Sarah Mirza, Ford Riley and Kevin Hopps)[6][7][8][9] He received a 2nd Daytime Emmy Award in the category "Outstanding Original Song in a Children's, Young Adult or Animated Program" for “As You Move Forward” from The Lion Guard.
