How did chris ledoux wife die

While many modern day country singers like to think of themselves as cowboys, only Chris LeDoux could lay claim to being the real McCoy. A former champion bareback rider, he pioneered what he calls ‘rodeo rock’n’roll, an exuberant, foot-stomping brand of high-energy rockin’ country music, best captured live. In the early 1970s he was a rodeo cowboy who played guitar and sang his own songs. Along the way he recorded 22 albums on his own label. They were often rushed productions, but LeDoux’s performances and the song quality could not be faulted. Those early albums made a big impact on a young Garth Brooks, not to mention thousands of fans all across the States. LeDoux got his big break due to Brooks, who sang about listening to ‘a worn out tape of Chris LeDoux’ in his 1989 hit Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old), which was enough to create international interest in Wyoming’s singing cowboy. Signed to Capitol/Liberty Records, he soon became more than just a cult hero, and scored chart hits with Whatcha Gonna Do With A Cowboy (backing vocals courtesy of Brooks) and Cadillac Ranch

I think that country music is the best kind of music for kids my age to listen to because the lyrics are not suggestive, and they do not promote violence just for the sake of violence like rap does. The lyrics talk about lost love, finding love, and the trials that love can cause.

Chris LeDoux is the greatest and most widely respected country singer because he is a true cowboy. He does not try to be something he isn't. He is just a down-to-earth, everyday cowboy who likes just a little bit of rock and roll.

Garth Brooks credits his success to a line in his first hit, "Much too young (to feel this dam* old), he sings ".... a worn out tape of Chris LeDoux, lonely women and bad booze seem to be the only friends I've left at all." Garth even patterns his live shows after Chris' concerts. Charlie Daniels, one of oldest singers in country music, wrote a poem about him: Sing Me a Song, Mr. Rodeo Man.

Chris is the cowboy's cowboy. He triumphed over injury to win the saddle bronc world championships in 1976. His early songs are the stories of rodeo and cowb

It was great hearing Billy Minick tell his Chris stories when they inducted Chris into Texas Trail of Fame,  He told how he hired Chris to help with stock at a rodeo he was running in Wyoming.
He also said he did an event for US Tobacco once, and they set screens up on stage. The President of the company said what are those for. Billy said when he starts singing "Copenhagen" you'll see why. They were behind screens when hundreds of cans of Copenhagen started flying up onstage....LOL
Someone should take those stories and memories and put them in a book, I am betting it would be a hard time deciding how to fit all those into 1 book

My Memories of Chris LeDoux, by Rob Fair
November 2007

I was honored to be asked to write some memories of Chris while traveling on the road during his music career, for this, the 3rd Annual Chris LeDoux Tribute Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming…………

Wow, Chris LeDoux!

I met Chris for the first time, back in 1993, at a concert in San Jose, CA. The stage hands were setting the stage, as I came to the venue ear
