Norma Linda Zimmerman
Norma Linda Zimmerman (Rodriguez) was called home to God on Monday, November 13, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.
Norma was born on April 1, 1963, in Texas to Jesus and Antonia Rodriguez. She was raised in Idaho and lived there through high school. After graduation, she moved to Utah. Not long after, she met and married Tim Zimmerman in September of 1984. They shared 39 years of marriage and raised two children together. She was a dedicated mother and always provided support and love for her family.
She worked at Sandy Elementary School for over 15 years in the front office. She enjoyed being able to interact with students, teachers, and parents.
It would be wrong to say that Norma lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Norma stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Norma. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight.
She is preceded in death by her grandp

Norma ZIMMERMAN
ZIMMERMAN, Norma Ruth (nee Cross)
On Monday, October 10, 2022 we said a heart-breaking good-bye to Norma (Cross) Zimmerman, our dearly loved mother, sister, Nana, Gigi, Aunt and friend to many. Norma passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years in Regina, SK. Norma was born in Winnipeg, MB on July 2, 1934 and grew up on Borebank Street with her sister Betty and mom and dad Sadie and Bert Cross. In her early years she played many sports including volleyball, tennis and basketball. She enjoyed summer camp with her sister, although peeling potatoes was not her favorite activity. There were many summers spent at Loon Lake in Ontario with her sister and grandparents. She was a member of a "smoking club" to which her sister Betty was not allowed. Betty hence told her parents and that was the end of that. She graduated from Kelvin High School in Winnipeg in 1952. Norma married Garry Zimmerman in Winnipeg in 1954 where daughter Lynda was born. Work took Norma and family to Cleveland, Ohio, then to Toronto, Ontario where daughter Dawn was born. They then
