RobNicholson (born November 24, 1969) also known as Blasko, is an American bassist, musician and manager. He is the bassist and backing vocalist of Rob Zombie and bassist for Ozzy Osbourne, and is also a manager for Black Veil Brides. He is also the former bassist of Cryptic Slaughter and live bassist for Danzig.
Career
Cryptic Slaughter (1984–1988)
Nicholson began his career playing bass for the Santa Monica, California-based speed/thrash metal band Cryptic Slaughter, performing on several of their albums.[1]
Drown (1993–1994)
Formed in 1987 by vocalist Lauren Boquette under the name Yesterday's Tear, Drown was rounded out by Nicholson (bass), Joseph Bishara (guitars/keyboards), and Todd Allen (drums).[2]
Suffer (1995–1996)

I thought Henry Rollins was the hardest working guy in show biz & music until I interviewed Rob “Blasko” Nicholson and it became clear that Rollins has competition for that title. His first gig was slinging bass for Metal Blade artists Cryptic Slaughter (1985-1988), releasing three influential albums with them. A few years later he joined Danzig briefly before signing on with Rob Zombie, playing on four of his records. Nicholson eventually landed a spot as Ozzy’s bass player replacing Jason Newsted in 2003. Since 2007 he’s been a full-time band member. Look for his work on Ozzy albums Black Rain and Scream.
