THE RUTH HEFLIN STORY AND MORE

They are asking you NOT to call the Camp if you can help it since information is being supplied via the Internet through these type of emails.

Last night, the 14th, I (Steve Shultz) received this alert from Tracy Ruleman:

============
"Hopefully you have heard of Sister Ruth Heflin. She is a great woman of faith with an international ministry that was for many years centered in Jerusalem. She has written many books most notably Glory, Revival Glory, Harvest Glory, Golden Glory and others. Tonight she is in need of her own miracle. She has had been battling cancer for many months. Without the miraculous intervention of God, Sister Ruth's doctors believe that tonight could be her last night.

Grateful for all you do, Tracy Ruleman Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle (Ashland, Virginia www.revivalglory.com "

THE RUTH HEFLIN STORY

Received from: Rev. Gary

I just reread Ruth’s book Glory. She was known for her prophetic anointing and her ability to lead people into worship.  She taught that you praise until the spirit of worship comes.  You worship until the glory comes.  Then, stand in the glory!  If you can capture these basic principles, you can have anything else you want in God.  It doesn’t matter if you are alone and have nobody to agree with you in prayer.

In 1972, she went to Jerusalem to live.  Their team would praise on Mt. Zion.  God told them, “You sow to the heavens, and I will sow to the earth. Even now while you are praising Me, I am pouring out My

Ruth Ward Heflin was a self-proclaimed revivalist and faith healer who claimed that gold dust and oil would supernaturally appear on people in her meetings. However, she died of cancer at age 60 despite claiming she could heal all diseases. Locals in Ashland, Virginia where she grew up had little knowledge of her international ministry and claims. Heflin made many grandiose claims that were not documented, such as taking on Chinese features after a vision. She practiced fortune-telling and clairvoyance. Her death brought attention to the fallibility of her claims regarding divine healing and a "glory realm" with authority over sickness and death.
